Polymer Clay Fairy House "Emporium"

What do you do with an empty pickle jar? Here's what I made. My latest polymer clay fairy house "Emporium". This house stands close to 11 inches. It was a challenge curing it. I have a small oven and there was a chance of burning the top part of the roof  since it was just about 2 inches away from heating element.  I carefully covered the piece with double sheet of parchment paper and a double sheet of tin foil. Luckily, it worked. I am so happy how it turned out.
I haven't made a fairy house with blue details so, I thought it will look good on my emporium.
The roof and ground is made of foil armature.

Materials used:
Polymer Clay
Empty Pickle Jar
Pearl Ex
Multi surface paint
Foil for Armature

I added some bushes and mushrooms for details.

The roof is painted with and side is painted with multi surface
bakeable paint.

The front door has textured wood grain.

This turned out to be a beautiful piece of art.
This emporium is open for business.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy this latest design.
